Last evening I found a old, injured pigeon. I felt that he is hungry and thirsty. I gave him something to eat and some water also. But he didn’t respond. I think he was behaving like this due to absence of his mate. I was unable to do much more about him except caring him that time. I realized that he is upset and sad also. Is old age difficult to survive without our mate, I realized that time. I realized what the love is actually! Love is to die for each other till we have our last breath remaining. Till the end doesn’t come. I was totally unable to understand what actually happened with him. But my opinion was as described above that hi didn’t want to live more without her mate. I just tried to be with him as much as I can. I just tried to keep him feeling better and feeling that someone is present alongside with him in his last time.
I am Old, That’s Why I am Alone

The love you gave this bird is a beautiful thing ππππβ€π€π

Thought provoking – among my people elders have always held an honored position, but it seems as though in affluent countries like the U.S. there is a perception of disposability associated with aging.
The aged become a βburdenβ and shuffled off to the side, forgotten, or placed in an βold folks homeβ.
The character of any nation, any people, is defined by the way they treat the aged, children, and the disadvantaged – by extension that includes how a person responds to the four leggeds and those who fly with wings.
You did good.
